The RHENUS Sport hall is located 400m away from the organisation’s hotels and 200m from the European Parliament.

With its 6,200 seats, it is admired by those who had the privilege to visit it: vastness, perfect view, polished architectural details, television platform and large-capacity press gallery. For the occasion its capacity will be reduced to 3,000 seats and the following pieces of equipment will be installed :

• Stage of 10m x 10m x 0.60m supporting the competition platform and equipped with a men’s bar and a women’s bar, as well as two reserve bars. The equipment is new and up to I.W.F standards,
• Men’s locker room equipped with a sauna and a weighing machine,
• Women’s locker room equipped with a sauna and a weighing machine,
• Weighing room,
• Resting room with 16 individual boxes, each of which fitted with a table, two chairs and one massage bed,
• Warm-up room with eight platforms of 3m x 3m; each platform will be equipped a men’s bar and a women’s bar. The equipment is new and up to I.W.F standards,
• Antidoping control room,
• An E.W.F office,
• A resting room and a meeting room for the referees,
• A press room,
• A television control room,
• An interview lounge,
• V.I.P lounges,
• And other additional rooms for the organisation.

Autoroutes à 200 m du complexe sportif (Hall Rhénus et Hôtels). .
Grâce au réseau autoroutier européen, Paris, Lyon, Marseille ou Montpellier, et, au-delà, l’Espagne, le Luxembourg, la Belgique, les Pays-Bas ou la Grande-Bretagne sont joints rapidement.

Gare à 15 mn du Centre de Congrès (liaison directe avec le tramway), Lyon (4 h 30), Bruxelles (5 h 00), Francfort (2 h 30), Bâle (1 h 30), Zurich (3 h 00) et en 2008, Paris à 2 h 20 en TGV.
